Life Update
I haven't posted anything for awhile so I thought I would give a quick update on life.
My first semester of grad school is almost over. I have been really busy the last few weeks finishing up projects and exams. I even had to cancel a much needed trip to Lex in order to complete a group project. I only have two finals left, which are due next week. My first summer course starts on May 7th, so I won't have a break. The second summer course starts at the beginning of June and lasts until July 3.
The week of July 4th I am going to Myrtle Beach with Mark, Jana, Pork Chop, Dustin and Leeann. I can't wait! I will definitely need a vacation by then. The fall semester won't start until mid-August, so I might also take a week and go to Florida. I want to visit my family in Orlando. Plus Savannah and Brandon are probably moving to Jacksonville, so I can spend some time with them while I'm down there.
I've been in West V for almost nine months now. I can't believe it! I miss all of my friends in KY so much! I've really learned how much I love my friends. But don't get me wrong, I absolutely love living here. I'm really happy with Mark and it's great to be close to my family and friends here. It's funny that when I lived in KY Jana and I would go months without seeing eachother, but now when we don't see eachother for a couple weeks it kills us! Plus it is great being within 15 minutes of my Mom and Dad's. I have easy access to the best babysitters for Dixie and I can eat dinner there whenever I feel like it.
That's it for now. We're all going to a Lynard Skynard/38 Special/Hank Jr concert next week and camping for Memorial Day. I'm sure a new post or two will come from that.
