American Idol
I have loved American Idol since the first season. I haven't been able to see much of it the last few years, but I've been trying to see it more this season. I am usually in class during American Idol, but thanks to snow I have had a couple of nights off and have gotten to tune in. I just have a couple of observations.
Kady Malloy:
This girl is a bitch. She constantly rolls her eyes when the judges talk to her. I don't like her.
Brooke White:
I like her. She has an interesting sound and she picks good songs like Carly Simon's "You're so vain."
Robbie Carrico:
I have heard that this guy used to live in Beckley, WV. For this reason, I like him too.
Jason Castro:
I like him. He is pretty.
David Archuleta:
I love him. He is my favorite. I predict he will win Season 7.
Update!
It has been a reeaalllyy long time since I've updated, so I decided to catch my blog up with the rest of my life. It's only 2 months into 2008 and I am already super busy. Over Christmas Mark and I moved into a cute little house in Malden, WV. For those unfamiliar with West V, it's just about 5 miles away from my old house, but in a much nicer neighborhood. I absolutely love it there. The best thing is that Dixie has a fenced-in yard and she's becoming friends with the dog next door. (They sniff eachother's butts through the fence).
A few weeks ago we headed to Tennessee for a weekend full of friends, laughter and booze. Jana and I were pleasantly suprised that we could even go. Mark had been saying since last year that he wouldn't take off work to go, and it was too far to stay just one night. Luckily for us, Mark was switched to day shift and he agreed to go just a couple weeks before the big trip. He ended up having a good time and I'm sure we won't be missing any Ski Trips in the future.
I'm still working hard in Grad School. Last semester was the biggest challenge of my academic career. I took an overload of courses and had to work my ass off! But I'm proud to admit that I still kept my 4.0 gpa. Woo Hoo! This semester has turned out to be cake compared to last. I'm just counting down the time to graduation. (10 months!) I'm ready to leave this place with my two masters degrees and show the world what I have to offer!
The next few months should be the source of some interesting entries. I'm heading to Cali in May to see my brother graduate from Berkeley. I think we are going to see Pauley Shore perform in March. We are also trying to plan a trip to meet up with Savannah and Brandon this Summer. Plus, with Spring coming towards us, I'm sure camping and boating hilarity will ensue. Stay tuned.....
